Christian Testimony | I Have Come Home (Part 1)

I have believed in the Lord for more than ten years and served in the church for two years, then left the church to go abroad for work. I have been to many places including Singapore and have earned a lot of money, but in this existence in modern society, where the strong prey on the weak, and where people compete with and scheme against each other, where each person tries to outdo the other in treachery, I have faced innumerable complex interpersonal relations and was always on my guard against others. The Words of God | The Mystery of the Incarnation (4)

Almighty God says, “You should know of the story behind the Bible and of its making. This knowledge does not belong to those who have not accepted the new work of God. They do not know. If you were to speak plainly of these matters of substance to them, they would no longer be sticklers about the Bible with you. They are constantly digging into what has been prophesied: Has this statement come to pass? Has that statement come to pass? Their acceptance of the gospel is in accordance with the Bible; and they preach the gospel according to the Bible. Their belief in God rests on the words of the Bible; without the Bible, they will not believe in God. Continue reading “The Words of God | The Mystery of the Incarnation (4)”

Almighty God’s Words | The Wicked Must Be Punished

Almighty God‘s Words | The Wicked Must Be Punished

Inspecting whether you practice righteousness in all that you do, and whether all of your actions are observed by God, are the behavioral principles of those who believe in God. You will be called righteous because you are able to satisfy God, and because you accept God’s care and protection. In God’s eyes, all those who accept God’s care, protection, and perfection and who are gained by Him, are righteous and looked upon with cherishment by God. The more you accept the words of God in the here and now, the more you are able to receive and understand God’s will, and thus the more you can live out God’s words and satisfy His requirements. This is God’s commission for you, and what you ought to achieve. Continue reading “Almighty God’s Words | The Wicked Must Be Punished”

Gospel Movie Clip “Faith in God” (4) – Is Believing in the Bible Equivalent to Believing in the Lord?

Introduction

Most people in the religious world believe that the Bible is the canon of Christianity, that one must hold on to the Bible and base one’s belief in the Lord entirely on the Bible, and that one cannot be called a believer if one departs from the Bible. So is a belief in the Lord and a belief in the Bible one and the same? What exactly is the relationship between the Bible and the Lord? The Lord Jesus once reprimanded the Pharisees with these words, “Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And you will not come to me, that you might have life” (John 5:39-40). The Bible is merely a testimony of God, but it does not contain eternal life. Only God is the truth, the way and the life. In that case, how do we look at the Bible in a way that accords with the Lord’s will?
