Uyghurs Urge US to End CCP’s Atrocities at Washington D C Rally

The afternoon of April 6, nearly 1,000 Uyghurs from all over the world gathered in Washington D.C.’s Freedom Plaza, holding up slogans and photos of loved ones held in concentration camps to protest the CCP’s atrocities of interning Xinjiang’s Uyghurs in concentration camps. This rally was hosted by Omer Kanat, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Uyghur Congress (WUC).

Italian Festival of Religions: All Must Defend Religious Freedom

On April 5, 2019 Mondoreligioni, an Italian festival of religions now in its second edition, was held in Rome, drawing representatives of religious groups from a number of countries to have exchanges by displaying religious literature and artwork, creative performances, and so on. The festival’s organizers, Italy’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Vice-President of the European Parliament, attended the event to deliver speeches. Christians with The Church of Almighty God (CAG) were also invited to attend.

For the entire rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), it has brutally oppressed religious beliefs, and the Party has been making another major push to Sinicize religion since Xi Jinping came to power. It has unrelentingly increased its efforts to suppress religion, not only investigating and eradicating house churches in all regions and madly arresting and persecuting Christians, but also wantonly demolishing Three-Self churches and tearing down crosses atop churches. October 24, 2018, The Church of Almighty God held its first photo exhibition in Seoul, South Korea with the theme of “The Origin and Development of The Church of Almighty God,” drawing eleven experts and scholars from seven countries including the USA, Canada, England, France, and Italy to attend and explore the exhibit. Massimo Introvigne, who is an Italian sociologist and the founder and managing director of the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), France’s Bernadette Rigal-Cellard, professor of North American Studies at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne, Canadian sociologist and author Susan Jean Palmer, and others raised questions on Almighty God’s work of the last days, and several Christians who accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days in its early period provided detailed answers to each one of them.
