The Wonderful Surprise of the Lord’s Return

In June 2017, I got to know Sister Liu and Brother Duan, both in Germany on Facebook, and through my communication with them I saw that they were genuine and modest people. They had a very pure understanding of the scripture and the content they shared in fellowship really contained light and was very beneficial for me. After joining them for a few gatherings, I understood a number of truths I never had before. My heart was really brightened; I loved meeting with them. During one gathering, Brother Duan referenced this passage of scripture: “For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27) Continue reading “Finally Seeing Who Are the Pharisees Today on My Path of Welcoming the Lord”

Who Are the Pharisees Today? Getting the Answer From My Debate With Pastor Jin

By Li Xianghe, South Korea

Not long after I accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days, I watched a gospel movie called The Mystery of Godliness: The Sequel on The Church of Almighty God’s website. Some pastors and elders in the movie didn’t accept Almighty God’s work and madly tried to stop believers from seeking the true way. This confused me, as I thought of pastors and elders as devout people who served the Lord. They always taught us to keep watch and wait so as not to miss the Lord’s coming. If they learned the Lord Jesus had returned, they should accept Him with joy. Why would they stop us? I thought of Pastor Jin in my old church. He was so loving toward believers and always yearned for the Lord to return. If he knew that the Lord had returned he’d be overjoyed to accept it right away. I decided to equip myself with the truth so I could share the gospel with him. But things didn’t turn out how I’d thought, and the storyline in the movie soon played out in my own life.

Testimony of Faith: How to Overcome the Temptations of Satan (Part 1)

By Geng Xin

Editor’s Note: The Bible records, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Satan is incredibly insidious, evil and treacherous. It does not want us to attain God’s salvation and so it frequently enacts its deceitful schemes against us in an attempt to make us shun God and betray God, so it can then devour our souls. When we are attacked by Satan’s temptations, how should we deal with them? I trust that Brother Geng Xin’s experiences will allow you to reap some benefit.

I Overcame Satan’s Temptation by Relying on God’s Strength

By Cindy

I’m a Christian. If you were to ask me if I’ve encountered any difficulties throughout my journey of faith, I would say that hindrance from family has been the single greatest difficulty that I’ve experienced. This is an issue that many other new believers may be confronted with. Although I experienced weakness and pain in the face of my family’s disruption and suppression, I was able to gain some understanding and discernment of Satan’s evil essence and motives through the enlightenment and guidance of God’s words. I also really deeply experienced that no matter how Satan may hinder or disrupt me, God is always by my side, guiding me and leading me with His words. This allows me to overcome Satan at every turn and live before God.

Spiritual Warfare: Two Months Spent “Imprisoned” by My Husband

By Baituo, South Korea

“My wife, you’d better keep the bank cards. It’s my fault for having blindly believed the CCP’s rumors and for trying to obstruct your belief in God, and even taking the bank cards away from you. Oh, let’s not talk about it anymore. Belief in God is a good thing. You keep on believing in God, and I won’t bother you anymore.” Hearing my husband say this, I kept offering up my thanks and praise to God in my heart. Thinking back over these past two months, if it hadn’t been for God’s guidance, I’d still be living “imprisoned” by my husband …

My Family Believe the Rumors and Try to Stop Me From Attending Meetings

God’s Word Leads Step by Step to Victory

Yili, USA

I was born in a Chinese Christian family, and my grandmother always used to take me to the church for gatherings and to sing hymns in praise of God when I was young…. After I grew up I obtained some grace of the Lord and experienced some of the Lord’s deeds, and I felt even more that the Lord is trustworthy. The Lord’s love for people is the truest, and the Lord’s word has authority and power and can give people hope. Whenever I would sing hymns, pray to the Lord, and read the word of the Lord, I would feel especially steady and tranquil in my heart. Continue reading “God’s Word Leads Step by Step to Victory”
